Our club had the pleasure of welcoming a new member at the June 5th luncheon meeting at the Larchmont Yacht Club. President Lester Nathan began the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, the Four-Way Test and the Rotary Code of Conduct.
After that, the induction of our new member, Vinyak Tripathi began. Membership Chairman Michael Gedigk conducted the ceremony and then presented him with a Rotary pin . President Nathan then presented him with his membership certificate.
We are very pleased to welcome Vinyak, who we believe will make important contributions to our club. Vinyak is head of the Research Department at Q Squared Capital in New York and lives in Larchmont with his wife and daughter.
In addition to the induction, President Nathan presented Chairman Gedigk with a pin from Rotary International to signify his elevation as a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow for his lifetime donations to The Rotary Foundation.
After the ceremonies and lunch, our members had a roundtable discussion about membership in Rotary.
