The Larchmont & New Rochelle Rotary team participated for the fourth time in the annual Alzheimer’s Association - Westchester County Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 5th. The Walk’s main purpose is to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

Around two thousand people from all over the county came to the Valhalla campus of SUNY Westchester Community College on a warm and sunny afternoon.  This year, there was a noticeable increase in participation by Rotary clubs from Westchester and the Bronx.  Our team used emails, Facebook and telephone calls to raise money.  Despite our team's small size, $8,195 was raised, the second highest Rotary team.
